New to weights

I have been doing the CLX program for 3 weeks now and love it and I can feel myself getting stronger. But I dont seem to have any strength in my shoulders. With some of the moves where you have your arms extended and lift them up to shoulder height I just cant do it no matter how light the weight is. Is this normal as Im just starting out or do I need to work on that specifically?

  • Do pushups. Start with the plank - and plank derivative moves - that'll get your shoulders in shape!
