To all your weight loss questions. Crazy I know :] but true!

Lyle McDonald has the answers to many common questions on here (and many many not so common) and worth reading all of his articles. http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/articles

Here are a few:

Problem with TOM?

----> http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/research-review/impact-of-the-menstrual-cycle-on-determinants-of-energy-intake-reseach-review.html

Think you are gaining a ton of muscle on a calorie deficit?

----> http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/muscle-gain/muscle-gain-mistakes.html

Hungry even though you ate all you calories?

----> http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/fat-loss/9-ways-to-deal-with-hunger-on-a-diet.html

Think fats make you fat?

----> http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/nutrition/carbohydrate-and-fat-controversies-part-1.html

Are you doing too much cardio?

----> http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/fat-loss/why-big-caloric-deficits-and-lots-of-activity-can-hurt-fat-loss.html

Just to name a few! More need to become acquainted with that site

Might post some of these in the boards. Someone might read them and learn... probably not.. but I can try! :]

    At work now so not much time to read, but I will check it out later. I didn't see any listing of credentials on the site. I googled him and again it didn't list any, but said he was "the authority on sports nutrition and more specifically low- carbohydrate dieting". Since I'm not an athlete and don't eat low-carb I'm not sure how much relavence any of it will have for me though.

    probably lots.

    the same reason people can learn tons from powerlifters, bodybuilders, or professional athletes, when they aren't doing any of those things.

    I would definitely check it out later then. Many many studies to read through, and so much to learn. Anyone interested in fitness or nutrition should be at least reading what Lyle has to say.

    If you are human,it applies. Period.

    I'm not sure why you have this hang up thinking that what applies for atheles does not apply for the average joe/jane.

    All of the same stuff applies, just scaled to your size.
