Help I keep fluctuating

Hi,
Does anyone have any tips to try and stop weight fluctuating.
I seem to lose some weight and then, despite no change in diet I seem to gain 2 or 3 pounds!

Can anyone help avoid this?

    Its normal, don't sweat it. Happens to me all the time!

    Every couple of weeks I hit a little stall where I bounce up and down between 3 pounds but...wait it out... it will go downward again. If it lasts a month or so, there are specific strategies you can do to break a plateau.. but it's not really a plateau until you're stalled for about a month I believe.

    No, there is no way to stop a natural thing that happens to everyone. Sorry. Maybe you should stop weighing yourself so often.
  • Hi it sounds like water retention, are you drinking enough. I also have the same problem my weight yo-yos, can lose three of four pound and then you put three pound back on. At the end of the day if you can lose one or two pounds a week you doing really well. If you would like a new MFP in the UK I will be more than happy to be support buddy for you.

    Oh yeah, and the only thing that REALLY helps me with this is..... I hide my scale in the closet and only weigh once a week.. at the same time of day, wearing nothing, after using the bathroom...before having coffee.
