Okay, I don't know how to post a picture here but I have finally put one on my profile, so maybe you would/could look at it there.

I've been reluctant to post. My journey seems to be going slowly compared to how much others here are losing. I"ve lost 24 lbs since June (five months) and now I've plateaud and have been stuck for over a month. I'm just trudging long though, knowing that I have lost inches, if not pounds. Today I'm wearing a shirt two sizes smaller than what was wearing before I started. The two photos don't show a lot of difererence. I was hoping I would be able to see more when I put them side but side, but I'll take what I can get.

Thanks for reading and looking. I"ve so wanted to have a success story to share, and though mine is small, I'm proud of what I've done so far.

Good luck to you all toda on your journey!!

Congratulations! I can see the difference. Don't be hard on yourself. My aunt often reminds me that we didn't put the weight on overnight or in a matter of a few weeks, we won't lose it that way either. Keep up the good work!

Keep up the good work...maybe you need to change up what you are doing and maybe that will help jumpstart your loss. Great job so far! I'd be thrilled to be 24 pounds lighter in 5 months!!

Are you kidding? You are RIGHT ON TRACK with a pound a week / 5 pounds a month. Keep the faith, and keep working it! In a year it will be 50 pounds, in 18 months it will be 75 pounds..... Just take each choice on its own terms and ask yourself, "Will this help or harm my goal?" There is no "good girl" or "bad girl", just a goal that you will meet more quickly or more slowly depending on your choices. You are the driver of this bus!

    Go get em!

Way to go..!! That is awesome progress!!! I agree to get past your plateau you may need to change up what you're doing, or perhaps eat a little bit more (200~400 cals) for a couple of days and then go back on schedule.

THank you all for the nice comments, especially for reminding me that a lb a week is good. I'm so proud of those people who lose, like, 60 lbs in 6 months but I so don't know how they've done it!!!!!

I am trying to change things up so my body doesn't get used to things and stay on the plateau. I've tried to change my exercise, adding more cardio, different weights, some pilates and such. I've tried to change my food, too; I tend to eat the same things every day. So, I'm hoping something gives soon, but, if not, just keep on trudging along!! I KNOW that what I"m doing is healthier and better than what I was doing before even if the scales don't show it.

I went shopping this weekend and it was so much more fun now that I wasn't worrying every minute about whether or not I'd be able to walk through the store without dying!!!! :)

Good luck all and thanks for the positive thoughts!!
