I finally have gotten within 2 calories of my calorie goal. I have been trying to eat very clean and moderate to low carbs and find it hard to get close to my calorie target after my workouts are entered. I workout a lot and recently started p90x. I decided to do what I usually hate and follow the nutrition plan that came with the program. I entered my food the last few days and was within 2 calories of my goal. I feel great and completely satisfied. The planning takes a bit more effort and I spent yesterday chopping, making pureed soups for the week and weighing my protein and packing it up. I think it is worth it and wish I would not have been so stubborn trying to do it on my own for so long.
My weight loss has slowed over the past few weeks and I suspect it is because i have been working out so much and not eating enough. I am training for a half marathon, teach group exercise 3 nights a week and work out in the early A.M on my own. I just switched to p90x this week to get some serious muscle training in.
