So I gave blood back in July and they always make your cholesterol level avail to view. Well, then it was a healthy 149. I gave blood again in Oct, and just checked my cholesterol and I am happy to say it went DOWN to 141!!! YAY! If not for my friend showing me this site, who knows where I would have been by now!!!

I wasn't aware that when you donated blood you could see your cholesterol numbers.0

The place that takes donations where I live and has blood drives tests your Total Cholesterol as a free service for donating. I like it, kinda helps get an idea of what I have going on. Now I don't know if that is more good than bad cholesterol, but I will certainly go to my dr and have a full panel done. My dad, who is very health conscious, said that is AMAZINGLY low for total cholesterol. YAY ME!! lolI wasn't aware that when you donated blood you could see your cholesterol numbers.0
