So I gave blood back in July and they always make your cholesterol level avail to view. Well, then it was a healthy 149. I gave blood again in Oct, and just checked my cholesterol and I am happy to say it went DOWN to 141!!! YAY! If not for my friend showing me this site, who knows where I would have been by now!!!

I wasn't aware that when you donated blood you could see your cholesterol numbers.

The place that takes donations where I live and has blood drives tests your Total Cholesterol as a free service for donating. I like it, kinda helps get an idea of what I have going on. Now I don't know if that is more good than bad cholesterol, but I will certainly go to my dr and have a full panel done. My dad, who is very health conscious, said that is AMAZINGLY low for total cholesterol. YAY ME!! lol
