Anyone heard of or tried Slimcaf by YWeight? It's a coffee drink (which apparently has less caffeine than decaf) that you drink each morning and it boosts your metabolism, yadda yadda yadda. I enjoy my daily decaf and thought this was interesting. Of course, the price tag of $169 for a month's supply (including a personal trainer, too) just isn't going to happen...

Never heard of it. BUT, I've been drinking regular coffee with 1/2 a can of Slimfast vanilla shake and it cost about $7 a week.

Never heard of it but, considering it references caffeine in the title, I'm very puzzled as to how it could have less caffeine than a decaf coffee - I'd be wondering what else is in it to boost your metabolism.

sounds dubious. i hate when coffee gets exploited like that.
  • Ingredients, from their website:

    "MoyoJava Coffee Beans

MoyoJava is a rare, nutrient-rich coffee from the high mountain regions of Ethiopia, Africa. Research confirms this extremely rare African coffee offers its drinker miraculous health and weight-loss benefits. The MoyoJava coffee bean is found only in the secluded mountains of Ethiopia.

This rare bean is grown in rich soils and carefully picked, dried, and hand-sorted. These magical beans are carefully roasted in small batches and at a special temperature to bring out their inherent nutritional characteristics and flavours. The result is a truly delicious coffee with remarkable health and weight-loss benefits, including dramatic reductions in stomach fat.

    Bitter Orange Extract (Neroli)

Bitter Orange, also known as Bigarade Orange or Neroli, has served many ancient cultures for its medicine effects in treating a large variety of health disorders. It is still used in connection with gastrointestinal disorders, insomnia, headaches, obesity, insomnia and indigestion.

Only the peel of bitter orange has proven medicinal value, mainly for digestive problems and a few other health concerns. Bitter orange contains several chemical compounds believed to stimulate metabolic rate, which increases calorie burning in the body.

    Hunger Oblivion Root

This plant helps regulate your blood sugar and insulin levels. It is often mistaken for a cactus because of the resemblance but it is actually a succulent plant.

The flesh of the plant is a known appetite suppressant, as has been used for this purpose for hundreds of years by the native San Tribe to stave off hunger while out on long hunting trip.

    Griffonia Simplicifolia (5HTP)

Griffonia is natural, derived from a plant and is beneficial in elevating mood. 5HTP is in turn, converted into Serotonin which is responsible for your mood, hunger and sleep cycles.

Widely used to help with obesity, PMS, migraines, depression, anxiety, and insomnia. Serotonin is responsible for feelings of wellbeing, satisfaction and for normal sleep patterns. As well as playing an important role in controlling anger, aggression, body temperature, mood, sleep, human sexuality, appetite, and metabolism.
