There was study done where they put a pile of margarin on a plate and a pile of real butter on a plate next to each other and set them out on a fence post on a dairy farm.....they placed a camera on the window seal for the entire day filming the plates as the day went by............when reviewed the film showed that flies landed on the butter over and over again throughout the day............the flies NEVER touched the plate with the margarin......................................
If a fly will not touch margarin then why do WE still eat it?
Just food for thought.......................

My friend told me about a discovery she made. When they made regular chicken their dog would eat it but when they dropped pieces of chicken from Taco Bell the dog wouldn't eat it. Weird!0

I'll take butter in moderation. No trans fats! Even the ones that claim to be trans fat free are lying! If they contain hydrogenated oils they contain trans fats but they say they do not and customers who do not know this buy it unknowingly. I think our FDA should be more strict about what claims a product can make on the label. Until then I'll stick to good ole butter my Nannie(Gma) lived to 92 on butter and her mom to 93, my mom who switched to the so called healthier margarine at the insistence of her dr.s died at 61. Yup I'm keepin my butter!:flowerforyou:
