Motivation vs Support

I read lots of forum posts. I rarely post myself. This is a little bit of a rant, so please excuse me if this offends as it is not meant to. I'm finding that lots of people confuse motivation with support. "Need motivation"...nobody can help you with that. Motivation is an internal thing...something only you can provide to yourself..and motivation is NOT necessary to do the things we need to do, its simply our reason for doing them. So if you're not feeling motivated to go to the gym, maybe ask your friends for some support and encouragement. Your motivation is hiding, but is not lost. When you weigh in/measure and find the downward direction you are hoping for, your motivation will come out from its hiding place...remember where you found it, and it won't be so easily hidden next time.
