sleep

OK, I've read in numerous places that sleeping well is an important part of a weight loss journey. Since I got my BodyMedia Fit, I've been seeing my sleep patterns. I allow myself 7 hours, but because of constantly waking through the night, I'm only averaging about 5 hours of sleep. I did get 9 hours Friday night, primarily because my shoulder was hurting and I took a hydrocodone! But I want to be able to get a solid night's sleep without taking sleeping pills (or especially hydrocodone!). I've tried Sleepytime tea before bed, listening to soft music, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions for improving sleep? I've always slept well, but over the last two years or so, I'm not able to sleep like I used to.
