For lunch today I had my favorite raw vegetable to snack on...BROCCOLI! I love broccoli--raw, roasted, heck I could pull a Buddy the Elf and pour syrup on it and still love broccoli ( although that would be defeating the purpose of getting into a healthy lifestyle). Ahem, anywho, I used to HATE broccoli, now I can't get enough--actually the same things goes for a lot of veggies (sweet potatoes, zuchinni, spinach, tomatoes, cauliflower, brussel sprouts) now I'm like a veggie harlot! Ok anyways my question for everyone is:

What food that you used to hate, do you completely love now? Plus how did you realize you loved it all of a sudden, did Cupid come and shoot an arrow between you and this food??

I used to hate green tea and love it now. That's not really a food, I suppose. I don't know why I love it now. It just makes me feel good. It's more of a feeling I get from it than the taste.

I thought that I hated cauliflower.

I have two little girls who are young and I want to be a good example for them. So..... last week I made cauliflower and thought "OK I can get this down, I can do it, it won't be that bad." Fast forward about 30 seconds and I'm eating seconds.... and thirds......

I LOVE CAULIFLOWER. Who knew?

Bleu Cheese. Man, I could not stand it, would gag at the smell. Tasted it about 10 years ago and nearly threw up. Now, I HAVE to have it with wings....i could drink it

Vegetables of all kinds. Growing up as a kid we mostly lived on green beans and corn. I started to eat other veggies about 15 years ago and realized they aren't that bad at all.

Almonds. I used to think they were dry and taste-less...but now, as a great snack, I eat them all the time and LOVE them!
