I am on the fence w/ that one. Michael Jackson abused drugs and he was going to do it with or without his Doctor Kivorkian. So they were both wrong and they both got what we would all expect would be the outcome. Michael Jackson is to blame here too and not too many see that. He was a drug addict! Just like A LOT OF THEM OTHER ACTORS AND ACTRESSES THAT THINK THEIR MONEY WILL BUY THEM DOCTORS AND LAWYERS AND DRUGS. The end result is always the same.... DEATH!

I agree. At the end of the day, MJ is the one who called his doctor. He had some serious personal responsibility in this matter that people tend to ignore. Just my opinion.

I will say also that this doctor deserves what he's getting as well and to never work again.

I'm so disillusioned with the justice system that I try not to pay attention.

We need to be a little bit more careful about calling people addicts....most of us are on this site because we are or have been or have the propensity to be food addicts at some point in our lives. Most of us have been effected and affected by someone with an addictive behavior. "There but for the grace of God go I."

I thnk LL will be busy celebrating after being released from jail after only 5 hours.

I can't believe these things make the TV all the way on the other side of the world. Isn't there actual news happening somewhere?

I wanted to come back after really thinking about what I put out here earlier. I want you all to know that I wish death on NOBODY. It is really sad that things turned out the way they did for this guy. I just get really uptight when we see this on our news so often and then families want to feel all warm and fuzzy by placing the blame on anyone but the person ( Michael in this case ) that put himself where he is today. If this doctor wouldn't have sold his soul for the $$$, the next doctor would have, but it was Michael that was not going to stop until his money paid for what he wanted... and got. Now, this doctor is left behind ( and is not innocent either ) to pay for what Michael was not going to stop until he got ( from him or the next doctor ). Both issues, sad.... because they both paid. My biggest issue was that it was so obvious that Michael has done these drugs and has had issues with that for years. Now his family and so many others want to say that this was the problem of only the doctor that walked out of a room for 2 minutes? He probably would have been dead years ago w/o the doctors that enabled him all these years. Two wrongs.... they both paid dearly....sad situation... I feel sorry for nobody in this case but his children.

He was wrong to do what he did as a doctor, but he did rid the world of a child molester so I call it even.

Even if MJ was a child molester, two wrongs don't make a right.

Sorry, but any 'doctor' that thinks it's appropriate to use a powerful anesthetic that is only meant to be used under very close monitoring in a hospital as a treatment for insomnia deserves to be found criminally negligent when something goes wrong, regardless of who the patient is.

Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do.

Honestly? Not really. His face didn't change at all during the verdict. Or... ever.

I just assumed he was self-medicated during the trial....
