Some small back story is needed for this

I work out at the college's student recreation center and to get in you give them your student id card and when you leave you get it back. Simple.

Well I love that I have been going to the gym regularly enough at the same time that the guy behind the counter knows my name, face and ID card.

I think it's pretty cool anyway

I'm totally with you! The guy at the gym down the street always says "Hey Alicia! How's it goin?" when I walk in... before I even scan my key card! It's an amazing feeling! Keep it up!!!

Awesome! They know me at my gym now, but not by name since I just scan my little thingie and they make sure that it worked. I did take about a month off (financial stuff) and it was nice when they welcomed me back when I started going again!
