I am number 1 in my book

I may not have physically brought home a trophy Saturday night from my first bikini competition, but in my book, I'm still a winner and am still number one. There were 45 overall bikini contestants, 20 - 25 in my division alone (bikini short), so not placing top 5 was not a deterent to me. I KNOW without a doubt in my heart and mind, I totally ROCKED that stage hardcore. I am so proud of myself.
It started as a joke, then it became my reality once I decided I was really going to compete. This took some very serious hard work, discipline, dedication, blood, sweat, tears, LOTS of decent food and working out to get this where I got. It wasn't easy, and not once did I pretend it was.
In typical bratty Bry fashion, I threw fits about the food I had to eat, etc. I was real the entire process. But, thankfully, I had all of my friends to allow me to be me and support me along the way. So, thank you for putting up with me.
This process was not easy, but it was MORE than worth it. To me, though I did not place in the top 5 out of 25 girls, the fact that I was able to keep up with the kick *kitten* workouts, keep on track with the food that I did NOT want to eat and then actually prance across that stage, I AM a winner and more importantly, I had SO much FUN!
So much fun, in fact, that I AM going to compete again. My hubs said one a year is plenty, but he was very happy and very proud of all the sass I brought to the stage.
I am glad what started out as a joke became my reality. I wouldn't have changed that day for the world. I made some lifelong friends and had an experience of a lifetime. Everyone was SO nice and helpful. It was one of the best days of my life.
Please see some of the pictures I have from that day. My husband still has some he has yet to get off his camera, so I will post those at a later time, but for now, here are just a few. Thank you all again for all of your love and support!!!

Thank you! I wrote a thread that explains most of it, if you are interested in reading it. I also wrote several blogs on the countdown, workouts, challenges, etc.
