What happened to signatures?

Apparently, the Site settings have been updated to choose ticker or not, but no "signatures".
Starting from the top, click: Community > Message Boards > Settings > then check "show ticker"

This way, everyone isn't subjected to seeing everything you want to put out there.

So I'm lurking "success stories" again, and noticed there are no signatures! What happened?
I don't know but it's a welcome change. Some people had tremendously long signatures.0 -
Probably "clogging" up message boards due to sheer volume of posts too. Takes a lot more space w/a signature than without.0

I'm glad they are gone. Signatures are stupid in my opinion. I don't want to see your political views, enormous photos (especially gifs), etc. every single time you comment on something. And some people did have offensive signatures.0

I will miss my Taeyang sig...but more importantly I am a bit worried ppl will think I am anorexic as my goal weight is extremely low for NORMAL height ppl >.< Gah, I put my height on my sig so ppl would stop bugging me.0

I'll gladly sacrifice my quote for not seeing annoyingly long signatures. But what if people don't want their ticker as their sig? Can they no longer just put a few words down?0

I think it's a great idea, but I also think it would be nice if Mike and Steven notified members of changes prior to implementing them.0

I didn't even notice!
The boards were getting cloggy with the huge sigs, though.........and they take up bandwidth, which I'm sure the makers of this fabulous website want to preserve so we can beeetch and rant about it all!

They got rid of mine a while back. It broke the rules apparently. :sad: I think they did a lot of cleaning up last night.0

I absolutely hate that the signatures are gone. My ticker on here is bloody pointless, it does not reflect in any fashion the actual weight I have lost.0
