How Do You Get Through the "6 Week Itch"?

Everytime I do a diet, I'm really good for about 6 weeks and then I start sliding. I don't know why but it happens EVERY time. How do I stop this pattern? Does this ever happen to anyone else? What do you do to get through it and persevere?
Any help is appreciated. Thank you so much

It sounds like the problem might be that you "diet." Instead of changing everything you eat and how much you eat, etc. why not make smaller changes to your current way of eating that are healthier? For example, don't cut out all the foods you don't like, instead eat less of them in smaller portions. If you deny yourself food that you like, you will inevitably binge later on. Try changing little things at a time, not all at once. After all, the "secret" to losing weight and keeping it off is to make a lifestyle change rather than a "diet." That way you don't feel deprived all the time.0

Be sure to have a cheat meal or cheat weekend.
On "cheat" days you eat whatever you want regardless of its makeup.
And enjoy!0
