One problem I have found with using Myfitnesspal is it does discourage me from eating fruit as it is so packed with sugar and the beneficial nutrients are not obvious. I decided to do more research to see how the data actually stacks up between the nutritional contents of different fruits and vegetables. In my search I have discovered this great website by the USDA which gives completenutritional information for many of the standard foodstuffs. I will be using this site myself in the future to help with my own research and knowledge, but thought I'd share the link with you all so you can be doing so yourselves. Hopefully we can thus improve the database in myfitnesspal with more of the Vit A/Vit C/calcium information which is so often missing from the records.

Hope you all find this as useful as I'm sure I will

What an incredibly detailed analysis of the foods. It gives every micronutrient down to the smallest detail. Thanks for that.
