Treadmill and walking

My motivation has finally founds its way back home and I am really ready to get to this. So last night I dusted off the treadmill and re-introduced myself to it. I walked for 40 mins with a few intervals of slow jogging, to get back into the swing of things.
In the past (before losing some weight - and gaining again) I would get some pain/cramping in the bottom of my feet when I walked for a long time. Last night it was much worse than I remember it being. I have good walking shoes and insoles but it didn't seem to make any difference.
I am just wondering if anyone has any ideas how to help this or what could be causing it.
Thanks
