What do I need to do to get rid of the extra fat/skin on my thighs?

  • You need to have a calorie deficit for a long enough period of time.

You cannot spot reduce, the only thing that will make the fat go away is eating less calories than you need to maintain

Yeah what sunshine said. Running may help though. Hasn't done mine any good but a lot of mfp said it worked well for them.

I don't think she is looking to spot reduce... rather than to tone up her thighs...AFTER losing the weight...

Original Poster: I've been wondering the same, as with losing weight I"ve noticed the only place that is not toning is my upper thighs.

LOTS of running will help tone your upper thighs. It won't be over night, but it will help. Also, if you incorporate leg work, that will help as well. Squats, lunges, leg press-- etc.

Running broke-up my "Kissing Thighs" - That was a long term relationship that those two had! Not sorry I broke them up!
  • Try squats and lunges.. especially the side to side - "sliding from one side to the other like an ice skater", plea (the ballerina move-- so not spelled correctly I know) squats, and curtsey lunges and front cross over lunges. I find these work the upper thight.. inner and outer.. Oh and star jumps. <-- good cardio too.
