I have always liked the odd tipple and generally been known to handle my booze quite well...
However, I learned a humbling lesson this weekend!
If you 'save up' that day's calories to 'spend' on alcoholic drinks... You might find they hit you harder than you'd imagined!
Martinis on an empty stomach = NOT A GOOD IDEA.
I forgot I used to soak those things up with big meals and bread.
Sparkling water for me from now on, thank you!

i completely wunderstand happened to me a few days a go when i got snowed in the bar for 4 hrs. yeah that was fun. lol0

I can so relate!!!
I had 2 glasses of wine the other day and i tell ya, it sure hit me!!!! I used to be able to drink numerous glaases with no problem!

I'm going for rye and diet cokes next weekend! Note the plural.It's been a while-we all deserve some drunken stooper times, right?0

i think i'm a bottomless pit.
i saved up my cals to "party" tonight. :drinker: presently, i'm downing my 3rd 10oz glass of wine (640 cals)
i wish i was happy to stop after 2.
i dont think i should drive right now, but as u can see, i can type w/out too many typos.
sad but true, i will not go over my cals tonight.
tomorrow morning, i might forse my self to go on a slow jog.

Ditto, I earned and am used up exercise calories for alcohol, bf said I was snoring lastnight (it's usually him who keeps me awake :yawn: ) so I guess it got to me pretty fast too!:laugh: :drinker: :laugh: :bigsmile:0

I hear ya on the all-inclusives! We go to one almost every year in Mexico...and good grief those pack on the pounds!!!!
I'm a little nervous about the Super Bowl tomorrow...I have stayed away from those parties the past few years because I, quite frankly, LOVE food! I gravitate to the food and eat the day away...I could care less about who wins or the commercials...I just want to sample all the great stuff, and wash it down with lots of drinks! I think my plan may be to do diet coke w/ Bacardi floaters. Those always make me feel like I'm having a cocktail, but I do not get drunk and I don't take in many colories that way.
Anyone else got a plan for tomorrow?0
