Too much protein ?

I always have more protein than is suggested for me on MFP. Is that a bad thing? If it is, why? That, so far, has been my only number consistently red instead of green.

Not likely. MFP's default settings are pretty low, and the only way to get too much protein (realistically speaking) is if it's at the dramatic expense of the other macros.
