i'm taking my dad to this fantastic hole-in-the-wall asian restaurant near my campus. i already know that i'm going to eat chicken (not breaded) mixed vegetables with some kind of sweet asian sauce (i think its soy sauce based). the problem is that i'm having a hard time finding an equivalent from any other restaurants. you guys know of any dished that are similar to this that i could find the nutrition facts for?

If it's a sweet suace it could be teriyaki or plum sauce.0

Soy sauce is PACKED full of sodium lol. What would I DO? I would ask for it with zero oil/butter additives. Bring my own sauce. (i.e. Lite Soy which has half the sodium)!!
Edit: Could also be Duck sauce but it may be orange sauce. A lot of restaurants use excessive oils and sugars in their sauces, so its really going to be hard to peg a nutritional breakdown. I would just see if they had any nutritional info or call them ahead of time so you can prepare!0 -
Check the Panda Express food items here, they actually have the sauces that they put on their dishes here. Just a thought, I had Panda Express last week......it was a total of 390 calories for alot of great food. I had mixed steamed veggies, chicken and mushrooms and Mandirin chicken no sauce and it was GREAT!
Have fun and enjoy!
