I am having a goal planning day today, not just for weight loss but professionally as well. I have a problem though when it comes to the reward.

So I thought I'd get some ideas and brainstorm......... What do you reward yourself with when you reach a mini goal?

for small goals i have planned little things,... a manicure, a new makeup item, new book... i try and keep it around $15
for the larger goals... it depends, a night out with the hubs, a new outfit, etc... try use something non-food related.. hope that helps!

I usually just go for things I want. Sometimes it's tangible, a new purse, etc, and sometimes it's an activity or service: a massage, a brazillian bikini wax, or a special event with my husband. Those are the things that will inspire me.

I don't really have set goals, but the new clothes I've had to buy in smaller and smaller sizes has been an excellent reward :)

it's always nice to buy something you always wanted to wear but thought would look weird on you before.

    My goal rewards are

    50lbs lost Ziplining with hubby

75lbs lost Maragarita Party with bestie

    100lbs lost sky diving

I know they are out there, but these are all things I've really wanted to do (well except Margarita Party) and never could. I'm about 25lbs away from Zip lining and sooo stoked!

i have a lot of goals and rewards

when i finish my first sprint triathlon, i'm going to by myself a road bicycle.

after i finish my second sprint tri, i'll probably buy myself a trisuit.

when i finish my first olympic triathlon, i'm going to buy myself a wet suit.

when i finish my first half ironman, i'll probably buy myself a full competetive triathlon bicycle.

I set a reward for every 10 lbs lost, and I usually try to make it those things that I would like, but could also do without...a box of those new expensive whitestrips is an example of one of mine. My rewards are usually something to with health and beauty, but that's only because its what I like and how I can spoil myself a little. I just think it has to be something that you will stay excited about and isn't food. Something that works for me is to keep whatever reward I'm working toward written on a post-it on my mirror to keep my mind on the right track! Good luck!

One of my goals is to do something that I could not do when I started losing weight. Take a bi-plane ride, or go skydiving. There is a weight limit which I had previously exceeded.

I think it depends on the things that you really like and the would probably not normally splurge on. For me it was 5lbs a new purse (I had one id been wanting) 10lbs boots (again have my eyes on a pair) etc. But that is if you like that sort of thing. I would recommend that you do ever 5lbs or so because if the goals are too big the rewards aren't that "dangling carrot" in front of your face so to speak! Lol

So many great ideas. What I need to do if figure out what kind of things I want and then NOT buy them unless I do something to earn it. I'm bad at just going and getting what I want when I want it and can afford it. I haven't been able to afford anything for 2 years (unemployed) so I didn't go shopping, not even window shopping -- too depressing.

Now I have a job, money, and some serious goals and a written goal plan of action shaping up today. So I have to figure out what I want to buy.... I need so much.

Same here, I could go buy the stuff if I really wanted but Im not doing it until I reach that goal! Im so afraid those stupid boots are going to be sold out in my size, but im making myself wait till I reach the -10lb mark. We can do this!!

My big reward.... This means I'd need to hit almost every goal professionally and personally. Professionally so I can pay for it and personally so I deserve it....... I really want a MINI Coup.... lime green or some other cool colour.

    What's you big goal reward????
