joined last wednesday and about to weigh in tomorrow. so far i am really happy with myfitnesspal and i know i have ate less because of inputting. I sometimes find it hard to eat enough and three of my days have been under target of 1200 calories. is there anything i could drink to make up about 200 -300 calories. Good luck to everyone in theri journey to fitness.

  • welcome and good luck. I have been using this for a couple of weeks now and often find I am under the 1200 calories a day (or more on the days I exercise). I am concentrating more on keeping the fat levels down while trying to max the calcium, iron and vitamins.

anything you drink to add 200-300 calories would probably have a high sugar content .

feel free to add me if you want to :)

Lowfat chocolate milk is usually 150 calories per 8 oz cup. Many use it as a post-workout recovery drink (replaces carbs, provides protein)

Welcome! I just joined a couple of days ago and find myself addicted so far! Congrats on the positive step! If you are looking for friends or support add me! And as for that 200-300 calorie addition, beer would do it. Ha ha just kidding. Enjoy!!

A tablespoon of peanut butter and a banana. PB has good fats in it and fiber. The banana has fiber. About a 190 calorie investment that can be put to good use. - also doesn't require a lot of prep time so it's easy!

Hi and congrats for joining! I'm new here too just about 5 days. Add me as a friend and let's kick this!!!!!!!!
  • Hello, I am 7 days new as well. I am only allowed 1200 calories and I find it hard to stick to that:) I liked the peanut butter banana comment because it definitely will give you the protein and potassium needed and those calories will round it out for you. You are welcome to friend me as well!
