a friend told me about this site and i wanted to see if anyone here could help me out! I;m 21 years old, a woman (hear me roar!) and here are my measurements:
weight 110.6lbs
BF:22.2%
chest 28.5
waist 23
hips 32.5
thighs 20
biceps (flexed) 11
I eat anywhere from 1600-2000 calories a day (the higher on wed. and sun., non workout days) and get 150g protein a day. right now im cycling carbs (at the end of the month i'll see if it helped, haha!) and staying under 50g a day on low days, no more than 130g on high days.
I do HIIT 5-6 days a week for anywhere from 20-45 minutes depending on what kind of time i have, and i try to lift heavy weights (no lighter than about 15-20lbs) 4 days a week. I work from home (my mother's home-stupid economy
) as a pet sitter while trying to do online courses to be a personal trainer (i watched my family struggle with weight related disease all my life, and i want to make sure i can help the cycle end! i want to work myself out of a job someday!) My day is super-hectic and starts really early and ends really late. my pedometer usually hits 20,000 steps by about 4pm. I am constantly moving anyway, but i try to set a few hours (even just 15 minutes at a time) to seriously workout-that's my "me time" ya know?
What i'm really getting to though is that i need help reaching my goals. I have been at this seriously for less than a year (fitness in general for almost 3 years, but i've only recently decided that i want to go somewhere with it) and i've decided to train and eat to get my bodyfat down to 13-16%. I know that is figure competitor low, which is exactly what i want. Ultimately by nxt year i want to enter an ametuer competition and feel like i belong on stage with the other women
I tried bodybuilding.com but they got really rude, like i should already KNOW the answers to my questions and am boring them by asking
I only eat chicken and turkey as far as meat goes, no fish (ick!). I am also lactose intolerant to a degree (yogurt is good in moderation, milk and cottage cheese are not. i really don't get it ) So finding ready made meal plans are next to impossible with my tastes. I would love a gym membership with a trainer myself, but saving up for a house, school (both my fiance and i), bills, and a big wedding (big family, haha) we just can't make ends meet with things like that in the mix, so i'm stuck with whatever i get. And what i've been getting ain't workin!
So i need some buddies with more knowledge than i've got right now!
It's great to meet similar people with similar goals, i hope you all have a happy workout today!
