And subsequently, Mum CBF cooking anything besides microwave or bbq meals.. and last night she didn't even make a salad. I would have but I was at swimming
Tonight is my night to cook, but my brother has his last high school exam so we are going out to dinner. Wish me luck on finding good options while out
MY POINT OF THE POST: DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR SNACK FOODS AND LUNCH AT WORK?
I work next door to a shopping centre, fast food and grocery stores inside.
Any ideas?

SNACKS:
apples, bananas, baby carrots, celery sticks, almonds (or other nuts)
LUNCH:
salads, soups (low sodium), sandwich with lots of veggies, wraps with lots of veggies0 -
I just went through this myself..a four week long kitchen renovation..not planed as a pipe burst in my ceiling..I made due with a toaster - made lots of healthy sandwhiches, salads...I also had a crock pot, so if you have one of those you can make all kinds of things like chili, roast with potatoes and veggies0

i have to take my lunch to work every day as there is nowhere to buy food.
A lot of the time i take dinner left overs - sometimes made up as a salad instead. Eg today i've got roast lamb chopped up into little bits with roast veggies. I tossed it through some lettuce and hey presto a salad! So actually i always try and cook extra for lunches.
On really lazy days i take a whole sweet potato and some yoghurt and zap it in my work's microwave and having it as an alternative to baked potato with sour cream. A bi of pepper makes it nice too.
I'm not much one for sandwiches which are the obvious other option.0 -
I will try those for tomorrow and rest of the week. I'm at work now, it's 8:22 am here, any suggestions that I can go grab from Woolworths/Coles? (supermarket if you didn't know)0

obviously its a bit late - but next time: there's sushi at woolies, yoghurt, salads, microwaveable meals (if your work has a microwave! I found the steam ones taste really good and are low fat) ummm thats all i can think of off the top of my head =D0

I bought 2 apples, 2 bananas, a mango and a peach for today, Thurs and Fri. I also bought some tuna/crackers snack packs, some trail bars and Activia yoghurt
Subway for lunch!0
