No Work Outs For A Week

So I just got back from my chiropractor today, and after getting 4 ribs put back into place, my shoulder, and my neck adjusted my muscles are very tender and stiff. I iced the areas as he advised me to, and I'm going back on Friday for 2 more sessions of adjustments, one in the morning and one in the evening. My question is, he told me I shouldn't exercise for at least a week, to allow things to get back to normal without anymore strain. How much progress am I going to lose, as far as muscle tone, in that amount of time? I've been working out 6 days a week religiously for a little over 2 months doing 2 Turbo Fire classes each day. Prior to that I worked out about every other day on average for about 3 months.

Your photo looks amazing, so I wouldn't be too worried! I am glad you are getting help and rest! Especially with chiro care, I think it;s a good idea to let your body rest and integrate the treatments. Drink LOTS of water! And ask your chiro if walking would be ok... it's not super high impact and it will still let you get a little exercise in.0

I hope not too much - I have been down with stress fractures in my foot for 3 weeks now. I've been stretching, doing light weights and 0 cardio. I kept my weight the same, but have noticed that I'm losing some tone. I did my measurements and I'm up about .5 - 1 inch on my waist and hips from all the sitting.
A week shouldn't be too much of a setback. But watch what you're eating too. I have been keeping around calorie limits, but have been letting some junk get back into the routine, which isn't good.
Hopefully your back stays in and you can get back into your routine!0
