training day off

hello! i'm wondering if evrybody goes through the following...

when i'm training i'm used to eat more because of the calories lost, but when i'm on my training day off I still have to respect my calorie allowance and I happen to be more hungry during that day .... is it normal? should i eat more? or not? i'm confused...
