Ingredients: One whole wheat pita (Trader Joes), one serving mozzarella cheese, 2 tbs marinara sauce, 1/4 cup mushrooms, 1/4 yellow onion, 3 cloves garlic, 1/2 meatless sausage -- plus basil, oregano, and red pepper flakes to taste

I spritz the mushrooms, garlic, and yellow onion with olive oil and sautee them for a bit before adding them to the pizza... then cook in the toaster oven (or regular oven) for 5-8 minutes.

Yummy!!

definitely bumping this! :) thanks for sharing!

Question.... I haven't been to a Trader Joe's in YEARS. How big are the pitas? Just normal size? (Approximately 6-8 inches?)

Yum! I made veg pizza too tonight, but I didn't use cheese and used standard thin crust. SO good! I'm finding I much prefer pizza without cheese - so does the rest of the family. Not something I'd expect but I'll take it!
