Exercise on South Beach diet

I have been looking into the South Beach diet after it was recommended by someone on MFP for people who suffer from PCOS. I was just wondering whether there was a restriction on how much exercise we do. I have been running recently and have been making quite a lot of progress with it but I wasn't sure if, with the lack of carbs especially in the first two weeks, what effect that would have on my running. Does anyone have any experience themselves with this diet and trying to exercise? Any tips or suggestions would be really helpful. :flowerforyou:

I saw on the new groups portion that there is a whole PCOS group.
I don't have any experience except i love that balsamic chicken recipe and the muffin cup frittata recipe from that book.
