I have had a couple in the past and I'm looking into getting a new one. I want to know which one is the best bang for the buck?

I use no-name ones most of the time from K-Mart ect, but at the moment I am using a proper George Foreman "melt" or something. You can make the lid hover the food so you cna melt cheese on toast or whatever :) I also have a george forman roaster

I just have a regular GF Grill. The small one that is meant for one person because I live alone, but I love it! I use it almost every day! Makes for a quick meal when I have worked all day and don't want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. I have tried no name ones before, but I like the GF the best. Doesn't matter what size, it performs well. If you are cooking for 2 or a family, just get a bigger one.

I just have a small George Forman that is made to cook only like 2 pieces of meat or w/e.. it's super basic.

It depends on what you want to use it for.. they have so many styles now that it's redic!

I like the small one best. The bigger one doesn't seem to close far enough down for me
  • My husband and I just got a new G.F. that has removable plates that you can put in the dishwasher for easy clean up and it also has a digital timer and two ways to close the top. We love it a lot. I think between him and I we have owned every G.F. that has ever come out :)

I used to have the big GF grill where it had a hot plate and you could add the "grill" thingy he is known for to cook your meats and such.

I totally agree with the girl a couple of posts up - it's definitely worth spending a few more bucks to get one with the removable plates that you can put in the dishwasher!
  • Thanks everyone! I saw the one w/ the removalble plates. That seems more like my style. LOL!
  • I have a no-name brand. Like Sunbeam or something. It is awesome. I think I paid 20 bucks at Wal-Mart. No issues at all with it.
  • I owned an older model but didn't end up using it very much b/c it was a pain to clean. I have a newer one now, with removable plates (that others have mentioned up thread). It is way, way easier to clean whether you put the plates in the dishwasher or the sink. I use it frequently. As a matter of fact, I just used it this a.m. to grill chicken, onions, and green pepper for chicken fajitas for dinner tonight.

This one. I got one that only came with the 2 grill plates and a griddle at Walmart for under $100 and I absolutely LOVE IT!!!!! It's so much easier to clean being able to take the plates off of it. I can still fit 4-6 burgers on it too!
