SO I DECIDED I AM GOING TO ASK "SANTA" FOR A HEART RATE MONITOR FOR XMAS THIS YEAR SO I ACTUALLY KNOW FOR SURE WHAT I AM BURNING....... NEED SUGGESTIONS ON RELATIVLEY INEXPENSIVE HRM'S.............. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THEM SO ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

    Santa may not like how you are YELLING at everyone, he only brings presents to good boys and girls, and good boys and girls don't YELL at people for no reason. :laugh:

    That being said the Polar FT4 and FT7 are very good and somewhat economical (with HRM's you do get what you pay for so don't cheap out). You can usually get a pretty good deal on Amazon.

    I just bought one from Walmart. It has a chest band as well as the watch...It's the SX Universal combo by Sportline.... I love it. It cost me about $50.
