I'm curious to know what everyone thinks of 30 day shred! I see that many people on here do Jillian Michaels stuff and I have done a few of her workouts so I'm curious what everyone thinks about it! Or even Jamie Eason's 12 week trainer??

I like the 30 day shred. It is a nice 20 min work out and it targets everything. If you get interrupted wyou can start over and feel a difference.

I like it too in the fact that is 20 min and everyone can come up with 20 min to workout! BUT since I have done p90x in the past, I dont feel that it is a challenging workout for ME but it is a good one! I typically do a 3-4 mile run and then 30 ds! I feel I get a good workout plus I get in my strength training, and Jillian targets most areas. I am only on my 2nd week so I cant tell any results yet.

I've not done 30 Day Shred (too high impact for me .... no modifications shown)

I have done No More Trouble Zones - good workout, very efficient. I traded this DVD away because I dislike Jillian and I have other DVDs I like to do. Kelly Coffey Meyer is great, I use a couple of her DVDs a lot, as well as Ellen Barrett.

I on my last days of the 30DS and I loving it! The results are great! I can really see the difference. I also have one the biggest loser dvd and its great also-it has beginner, intermediate, advance with the feature to mix and match the workouts without having to stop the dvd and fwd/rwd! I have never really cared for JM's personality, but 30DS gives the results she claims.
  • That's my problem I have done P90X and Turbo Fire so I don't find Jillian as challenging so that's why I'm curious. I had a friend come over and do FIRE 30 with me and she does Jillian M. religiously and she said JIllian has NOTHING on FIre 30 she got her booty whooped. I'm not knocking it until I try it. We all find success in different ways :)
  • Opps NOT 30 day shred I meant Ripped in 30 I don't have the desire to do 30 day shred ever I tried it and its not challenge for me

Ripped in 30 is definitely harder than 30DS. I'm only on level 2 and Jillian's kicking my butt! Level 1 seemed relatively easy compared to some of her other workouts (killer buns and thighs or Banish fat boost metabolism) but level 2 is a whole different story!

I'm doing Jamie Eason's 12 week trainer, but switching some stuff (like I'll take out two of her leg exercises and add in two others that I like better). I like it because it gives me a basic idea to work with - I definitely change things up a lot and still need my serious cardio time, but I can see a lot of cool changes in my muscle tone now that I'm strengthening the muscles and loosing the fat.

Because the moves are basic so there is no need to modify anything. The girl on the right however is there to show you the moves in a way that puts less stress on the body.
