Not necessarily new here, but a new start

I have been a member of this site since June. I lost a couple of pounds and have since gained it all back.
I have a whole list of excuses for this happening, but let's just say that with starting a full time job and taking 18 hours of online classes, every ounce of my day is accounted for (I know, I know...excuses excuses).
I have always lacked serious motivation, but I am SO DETERMINED to get all this icky weight off...the RIGHT way, no extreme dieting and no ridiculous fads. I have lost a couple of pounds since starting (about 5 really).
I am 5'7 and 217lbs (that's a big step seeing as how I try to pretend that isn't a real number). I go to school full time, I work full time, I am married, and I have no children (yet!). I want to lose 70+ lbs. I have a gym membership, working legs and arms, and pretty much any kind of home gym equipment you can think of. All I need now is motivation, so add me if you want and hopefully we can motivate each other!

I'm right there with you! I was doing really awesome for awhile and then life happened. Haha. But like you said, excuses, excuses. There shouldn't be any, because life will always be stressful and we still need to make healthy choices in the midst of it all. I'm starting back again after gaining back 7 or so lbs that I have lost. I'd love to share motivation!0

Making these statements and acknowledgments is the first step to making this happen ! Now all you need is to stay focused, remember that you are doing this for YOU ! Find a routine that works for you ... including exercise and foods that you LOVE ! Making healthy choices that not only benefit you .... but also you enjoy is the key to success ! I wish you the very BEST of luck !
PS ... You got this !0 -
I am inspired by your words. Thanks because I have allowed LIFE to come in and take over. I am tired, lazy most of the time and hoping my weight loss would just happen with littlechanges here and there. So I hope this is a new begining for me.0

That is EXACTLY how I feel. Life just gets in the way too much.0 -
