I'm struggling with a gain - I blogged about it on my blog site. www.TammyLanham.wordpress.com
In short, I've gained 5 pounds in 4-5 weeks. I need some motivation and support. I've lost 45 pounds over the past 10 months, but the last month was tough. Any help or re-direction would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Tammy.
The important thing when you are down is to remember what you have accomplished and remembering where you never want to be again. You have done great so far, so keep up the good work!
What you are eating is the most important so small portions and don't forget your healthy snacks!!
Another thing, to burn a few extra calories remember when you go somewhere to park farther so you make yourself walk. And just keep pushing yourself. It is all mental. You have to believe to achieve!

I commented on FB, here it is: "5 pounds is disappointing, but over 5 weeks...not too bad. Be encouraged in that you caught yourself pretty quickly before the downward spiral got going to fast and that you also have the tools and the support system to get back on track. You mentioned "disease" and "addiction"; admitting to myself and others that my problem really is a food addiction was hard, but was necessary. You aren't alone Tammy! Thanks for being transparent and real!"0

I've heard that hormones may still be out of whack after losing a bunch of weight. This makes it difficult to keep your weight down. I'd just launch into another routine of exercise or whatever you've done to get you where you are. I mean, switching it up and increasing intensity may also be good. Just stay disciplined. You can do this.0
