Hi I'm Michelle!

I'm a 24 yr old stay at home mom to a 2.5 year old. I've been on this journey (not consistently!) since I had him. I started at 195, got down to 145, back up to 156, back down to 145, and most recently back up to 161. I'm now down to 159, and desperately trying to get down to 130!

If anyone is in the same boat as me, I'd love some friends, support and encouragement!

Michelle

Hey! I'm a 23 y/o mom of a 2 y/o. I started off with about 45 pounds to lose, but I have less than 15 to go! Good luck with your weight loss. You can add me if you'd like :)

You can do it! I'm in a similar situation. When I had my son 2 years ago at 24, I weighed 200lbs even, going into the hospital. It took me about 6months to lose the 40lbs I gained during pregnancy and about a full year to lose 60lbs, down to 140lbs. At that point I lost all motivation even though I wanted to lose another 10lbs and get down to 130lbs. Over the last year I've gained 7lbs back even though I was "trying hard" to lose or at least maintain my weight. I finally got fed up with the weight gain, along with many of my coworkers, so we decided to start a weight loss competition over the next 8 weeks, with $300 going to the person with the highest percentage of weight loss. This was exactly what I needed to get motivated! We started a little over a week ago and many of my friends happened upon MFP. I just joined yesterday and I love it! I'm already down 6lbs from a little over a week ago. Just 11 lbs to go! I don't think I've been 130lbs in my adult life, the lowest I weighed was in early college at 135. I can't wait to see the 130's again!

    Hello,

I am def in the same boat. I am a 27 year old mom of 2 (19 month old and a 2 month old). My first goal is to get down to 180lbs, which I haven't weighed since some time in college, and a maybe more long term goal would be to get down to 160lbs. I will re-evaluate that goal when the first one is met. I just want to fit my clothes again and feel cute!

I'm only 10 lbs into the journey so add me and we can do it together! :)

Hi! I am a SAHM of an 8 month old little girl and I have 52lbs to lose! I gained 45 during pregnancy and put the rest on afterward with PPD =/ I feel like less of a person, sometimes worthless because of my weight and the way that I look AND I AM SICK OF THAT! I started Jillian Michaels 30 day shred today (it totally kicked my @$$) and have also started logging EVERYTHING that I put in my mouth. If you would like to add me as a friend and we can share motivation, recipies, exercises, and chit chat
