Rowing -- Need gloves

Hi, I just purchased a concept 2 rowing machine and I LOVE it, BUT I'm starting to get calluses on my hands. Can anyone recommend a rowing glove -- fingered, no fingers? Do the gloves have to be specifically for rowing? Could it be any kind of athletic gloves?
Thanks
Melanie

My hands also get sweaty. Gloves are a great idea!0

Rowing gloves are considered by rowers to be a sign of weakness... but we all have a pair stashed away for erg sessions because we need our hands for feeling the oars on the water. Go fingerless, so you can feel the erg, but get thin one in my opinion.0

Be proud of those callouses! Shows you're a rower! I personally never wear gloves but the people I know who do tend to go for the fingerless cycling type gloves.0
