My boss just walked in the door and set a fresh turnover from a local bakery on my desk, right in front of my face. Yipes!! I told him he was evil. Holy cow - this is tough, but if I eat it my blood sugar will be like 300+. So, that makes it a little easier :ohwell:

Yeah - he brought one for everyone. All 4 of us here today. However - SUCCESS - I put it into a ziplock baggie (barely fit) and will take it home for dh and kiddos to share. I even told my boss I did that! Maybe he'll get the hint and not include me on his impulsive goodie buys! :drinker:

lol... I did it to myself this weekend. Went shopping Saturday night. I'm a secret shopper, and one of the things I have to do is put something (of good size so it's seeable) under my cart and "forget" to put it on the belt. This way I can see if the cashiers are using their mirrors or if the baggers are checking for stuff. I've gotten free dog food, gallons of milk, and kitty litter in the past. Saturday, they had packaged up boxes of donuts left when they closed the bakery, so I threw one of those under my cart. Sunday, I ate 4 of those donuts. Oh yes, I said 4. It might even have been 5.... Lets see. White frosted custard filled. Chocolate frosted custard filled. Lemon filled. Grape filled. Nope, only 4

After the second one at lunch, I decided it was going to be an eat whatever I want all day kind of day (first one since September 20). Besides those 4 donuts, I had chips and dip, hot dogs with chili cheese on the top, nachos, 2 slices of pizza, and some chocolate milk, and some soda. I can't even begin to imagine what those calories all added up to for the day, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself and don't feel the least bit guilty about it.

I stepped on the scale this morning, and was only up a pound. That's probably water retention from all the sodium filled goodies. No worries  And today, right back on track!

Wow - only up 1 lb!! Those donuts sound great - I used to be a secret shopper here too. Kind of fun!
