question about the exercise

I have a question about how the exercise works. I put that I workout 5 days a week for 65 minutes per visit and it only gave me a goal of 1460 calories per week. I burn that in two days not per week. Do I put in all of my workouts or only until I hit the 1460? Also I have not been eating the extra calories they give me for working out. Is that the right thing to do? I already get about 1500 calories. Which is more then I got on weight watchers. This is only my third day but I wanted to try something free instead of paying for weight watchers each month.

Focus on what your actual workouts are. If you do cardio enter the exercise and it should give you a baseline for calories burned unless you already know from a treadmill, elliptical, etc. I think it's perfectly fine to eat back the calories you burned but as long as you are over 1200 I wouldn't worry a lot about it if you're not hungry.0

The numbers are only goals.. don't stop exercising because you've hit a number.. exercise because it's healthy and you'll be in better shape. As for workout calories, you're going to see a split on this one.. Dieters don't like to eat them back because to them, less is more.. Athletes (which I am) eat them back because they understand that the body needs them to be strong and healthy. I am a huge advocate for eating back your exercise calories, but in a healthy manner.. An hour on the treadmill does not equate to a bag of m&m's.. but more calories that will fuel the body. I think this is a great program, especially for those that are self motivated. I've never tried weight watchers, but I've seen many do it for a year and quit. This program has taught me a lifestyle change that isn't about having a special slide rule or doing calculations in my head if I want to eat.0

don't focus really on what MFP says you should be burning or whatever. i always really blow that number out of the water. and it has nothing to do with your daily caloric intake goals. seriously, change your exercise goals to 0/0, and watch nothing happen.0
