    It's a wonderful life thou is important especially now when people have and set goals around things that don't actually make them happy or aren't actually important. Soort of like the point of Up.


    You mentioned Up. I am going to go cry now.

    Didn't think it was an Christmas film, but then in England Christmas means 'The Great Escape' and James Bond

    A person's point of view on the movie may change over time.

    Just as George Baily wanted to see the world when he was young, we can empathize with him when we are young and hold those same ideals. When we're young we're sad for George that he always gets stuck being Cinderella. Mind the family business, work hard, live in a modest home.

    As we get older and have families of our own, perhaps worked for 20-30 years to pay down a mortgage, you start to realize the same thing George did....he already is wealthy beyond his youthful dreams and it turns out that life can be pretty wonderful when you're surrounded by friends and family that love you.

    Speaking of friends, most of us probably have friends that would help you move.
    REAL friends will help you 'move the bodies' :bigsmile:
