I asked MFP friends this question, but I don't know how many of them have been to Aruba so I thought I would ask the whole community too!
I am going to Aruba for a week...how much spending money for fun and food do you think my fiance and I need? Would you suggest cash? We have never been out of the country..well except for Mexico, but Aruba is a little different!
Visa charges a 3% fee for every transaction, so I'm not planning on using my Visa in Aruba.
Any thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I've lost 59 lbs, and tomorrow is my weigh in...hope for 60lbs before my trip this weekend!!

    I've never been to Aruba, but do you think travelers checks would be a good way to go? Or what about one of those visa debit cards that aren't connected to your bank account or credit card account? That way you aren't carrying around a bunch of cash?
