What is a good percentage to reach and then maintain? I know the 'athletic' range is 14-20% but that seems
Like a big range for me...what should I ultimately be striving for? I need number goals :)

Thanks!

Best website and forum in my opinion!
  • Depends on what you have as a good ideal image of yourself.

Im wanting a lot of definition and abs. Maybe around 16% for me

    18% is a great goal :] a lean look

    Sadly I don't know women's ranges.

For men, goal should be less than 15%. Measurement error can be up to 2% for skin fold 7 site. So 13% would yield a result under 15% with error factored in.

My personal goal is to compete in figure competitions, so I am trying for 10-12%. But when I am not competing, I want to stay around 17%.

20-22% is avg healthy range for a woman, 18-20% is the "fit" range for a woman, and 14-18% is condisered athletic range for a woman!!! A women's body NEEDS 11-13% minimum to function properly!!

my goal is 18%...right between fit and athlete!!
