I've chosen to introduce myself instead of just reading.....
I am a 43yr old Mum of 2 teenage boys.
I teach gymnastics, go to the gym and also adult beginner ballet classes.
I love reading about nutrition and have been Paleo since Australia Day( 26th Jan.2011) after seeing my friends at a bbq. They had all lost weight and told me about the Paleo lifestyle.
I have lost 5kg and feel so much better for it.
I'd love to chat with anyone interested in a weight loss/maintainence buddy!

    I have heard of this diet. Does it really work. is it known as a caveman diet?. If it works thats great and welcome x

    I am fairly new here also, and could use all the help I can get. I started off great, losing 6kg but now it has slowed down and I must keep faith in my dieting/exercises and take on board all the valuable knowledge people can offer me and hopefully I can offer some in return! :)

    Hi Luanwalton, Yes it really works!
    I am a bit stubborn when i've made up my mind, so I can honestly say I've absloutely stuck to it since January and I've never felt better. Energy levels, skin, mood and even the way my clothing looks are all bonus improvements.
    If you take nothing else away from this just remember cut out all processed food, sugar and grains from your diet.
    any of my friends who have asked me what's going on, then followed those rules have lost weight.
    Eat loads of protein, meat eggs,a little dairy, vegies, some good oil like coconut, almonds, macadamia nut, avocado and limit your fruit intake ( sugars).
    Stick to it for 30 days - properly.
    You will become a fat burner!!
