Hello
Thanks for adding me I can't sing the praises of this place enough. I've used it for around 2 and half/ 3 years.
The key for me with losing weight was not to be put off if for a few weeks you hit a plateau, or that it comes off at a snails pace. It means that the likely hood of you keeping the weight off is greater, as a plateau is maintaining where you have reached. You will have weeks even months where you weight will fluctuate between 4 and 7lbs in both directions and it will do your nut in. But don't give up, you are worth every ounce that eventually comes off, and you are definitely worth the effort. You just need to research what works for you, what you need to mix up to get your old metabolism firing up again. And be kind to yourself - as we can be our own worst enemies.
Where in Wales are you? And feel free to message me at any point when you think 'argh i can't do this' we all have those days.
What's your first goal? Take it in small steps, mine was to be under 17stone 7 when i first started losing weight - it was only 5lbs but it was the first 'yes I CAN do this' target. I've now got down to 12 stone 6, so my new target is 12 stone. And I'm going to buy myself a new MAC lipstick when I hit it Give yourself little rewards when you hit your little goals too, great tip I got given
Best of luck Sophie, you'll do awesomely.
