Tastes like Reese's:

1/2 c. Powdered (dry) milk
1/2 c. Peanut butter (we used crunchy)
1/2. c. Honey

Mix together in bowl.

Add:
2 T. cocoa powder
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix with clean hands. Roll the mixture into a long tube in waxed paper, then place in the refrigerator to harden. Cut into 16 pieces (or you can roll into balls instead).

16 servings:
90 calories, 3g fat, 14g carb, 3g protein (logged in MFP as Jess's Homemade Reese's Dessert)

You can also add in coconut, rasisins, chopped dates, or chopped nuts if desired. (but that will change the calorie count)

My dd's and I made them after school and they LOVED them! (my 10yo told me that I *had* to share the recipe! )

Okay I'm drooling! I'll make them after I hit my next goal.. But I will make sure I have company over so I can share them! (* Does it take long for the Powdered milk to disolve in the peanut butter? A couple hours like powdered sugar? or better overnight?) Thanks for the great recipe. :flowerforyou:

Nope, it mixes right in. We made them after they got home from school and they had them for dessert after dinner about an hour & a half later.

OK I just got in and saw this recipe. I was having a hamburger for dinner so I took the top bun off and made it open faced so I had enough cals for this lol.

I didnt let it set..just ate 2 tablespoonfuls out of the bowl...perfect dessert..

    thank you

Where do you find the powered dry milk? In the section with the non-refrig milks or near the coffee? I also read another recipe somewhere else about dry buttermilk to make mashies - same place? I am a Reese fan (thus my 29 as my Nascar man Kevin Harvick is sometimes sponsored by reeses, like them both  ) and been so since a girl....so let me know about the dry milk..

It's in the baking goods aisle, not with the regular milk. Doesn't everyone love PB & chocolate??

Okay if some of you aren't waiting for it to set and eating it out of the bowl... I have to wait until my next goal... Because I'm sure it smells awesome! ***The Play Dough I make for my kids has Flour as the main ingredient... And no peanut butter... Whats your recipe?

    Earth Friendly Play Dough
    1 cup flour (not self-rising)
    1/2 cup salt
    1 cup water
    1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    1-1/2 teaspoons cream of tartar

Mix in saucepan over low heat. (It does not have to heat long.) Dough is ready when it rolls into a ball. Keep dough fresh in an airtight container. If you need to make different colors, add food coloring while mixing over heat.

I think that's the same one I use, my Mom's recipe. My kids love it! I HATE the smell of store bought play-doh so I prefer the homemade one!
