It's all about ME! Mommy's Time

I have had this account for a while and finally decided to take the advice I hear from everyone. Do it for you and think of you and the rest of the stuff with your family life and work life will fall in line. It has been one month since I slowly started to take this journey and decided if I want to hit my goals and want to know who I am in the mirror I better get moving. Thank you to all that post on here. As I tend to read a lot of them. The whole "Mom" thing and worry about my kids has consumed my life out of work. So I can tell it is a little hard on my kids when I tell them they have to do an activity on there own for the next 30 min's because Mom needs her time but they are slowly getting used to it.
My goal is to get in the middle of a healthy BMI which is about 40 lbs. I just turned 31 and I can tell after having 2 kids there has been lots of changes already going on in my body so I hope I wake up the younger body to help me pull through.
What hit me to do this was the picture of me and my husband with our oldest child going to school for the first day and I didn't know who that was in that picture.
That is the day it hit home and knowing I didn't want to see pictures of me and see what I saw that day!
Good Luck to all and please keep posting as it drives me.

Good on you. As a mother of 2 small kids (2 & 3 years old) I know how hard it can be to take the time to exercise.
I hit rock bottom when I was bridesmaid for my twin sis and I HATED the way I looked beside the other skinny bridesmaid. Decided there and then to start doing something about it.
My husband doesn't hand me time for myself on a platter, I have to take it. He is great though and minds the kids while I head to the gym but they are both in bed at that stage anyway.
It's tiring trying to fit it all in but it's worth it and it's a good tired and you will feel amazing when you reach your goals. Best of luck with it!0
