I need some really FUN and not too messy ideas for fundraising in the office!
So far, my favourite idea is getting everybody to bring in a baby photo and we play guess who.
Now your turn...!

What is the fundraising for?
Children in Need...0 -
Do a covered dish lunch - pay $3 to eat. We just did a soup luncheon here at work today to raise money for Warm the Children. Everyone donates $3 to eat. The company will match whatever we collect in donations.0

Have an "art show" ask people to make a pic that reminds them of what they are raising funds for... a penny a vote for the best pic... $1. is 100 votes...0

Silent auction - people bring in something from home they no longer want/need (games, puzzles, toys, artwork, jewelry, etc), put everything on a big table in a central location with a piece of paper for each item and folks can write down their name and bid and whoever has the highest bid gets the item and their money goes to the fund.
Are you trying to avoid food related stuff? I was thinking bake sale, maybe mixed in with a craft sale for the holidays?0 -
Well the easiest way to go is selling candy especially in a office where everyone snacks in between work or you could have a party celebrating the fundraiser and have people buy tickets to attend.0

Sell nachos. It might sound silly, but they are the most cost-effective thing in the world to sell. You can get HUGE, industrial-sized cans of nacho cheese at Sam's Club for like 6 bucks, and huge bags of chips are like 3 bucks. Sell trays of chips and cheese for 2 or 3 bucks. We do it to raise money at my workplace all the time. (Then again, my workplace is a school, so we have tons of people around all the time. I guess this wouldn't work in a small office or something like that.)0

Every year our company does a Chili Cookoff. a group of people (10-15) bring Chili in crockpots and it's $5 to have chili.. everyone votes and someone wins the best chili title, while the funds go to families in need during the holidays. We actually adopt 1 family too and provide everything for a holiday feast and toys for the children. Those who don't make chili bring other goodies to contribute.0

pay $5 and you get to wear jeans to work on Fridays...of course that depends on what type of environment you work in. I like the Chili Cookoff idea too!0

Not sure if any if these are any good?
1) A "wear your slippers to work day" ( I definitely would pay to wear my boot slippers to work!)
2) Selling crafty things or tray bakes and cakes is always a winner.
3) A raffle? - people could donate items so there's not too much cost in getting it started
4) Does anyone have a wii they could donate for the day? People could pay £1 to play etc0 -
Great suggestions. I shall put some of these forward... Thanks everyone!0
