I love pastries! Feel like I'm depriving myself but not eating any...If I have a donut but still under my calories, is that okay???

Why are you asking permission? It's your diet, do what you want with it. If you want to accomodate a donut, accomodate a ****ing donut. For me it's about calorie and macros, if I can meet my goals I can have it.

This. How long is your diet going to last if you feel deprived all the time?

Everything in moderation! I say go for it just not overboard as long as you stay within your calories. If you feel deprived you may end up bingeing (sp?) at some point.

I ate a doughnut and cider at halloween. The world didn't end :) Just don't make a habit of it. Once in a while is fine, but when you're sitting in front of the video game with a box of boston creams it's gone too far. Speaking from experience here.

As long as you can work it into your daily calories, go for it! I would suggest eating it with your breakfast instead of later in the day (most of us eat donuts in the morning anyway).
