i absolutely LOVE just strawberries and vanilla ice cream- you can do frozen yogurt for a bit lower cal...but that is my favorite!!!! i lived in traverse city this summer and michigan strawberries are the BEST....we were eating strawberries and ice cream every night for weeks!!! enjoy your strawberries- but make sure to freeze some too!!! they are a great pick me up when you can't have them fresh!

Im so jealous! We wont get the "farm fresh good" strawberries here until mid june.
I bought a big bag of frozen ones at walmart today tho. I LOVE them frozen for making smoothies.
You can freeze them easy by putting them on a cookie sheet in a single layer, then once frozen dump them into a freezer bag. This makes it easy to use a few at a time instead of having to defrost a whole container. Raspberries, blueberrys and peaches you can do the same with :)

Heres a link to a sugar free, no cook strawberry freezer jam

One of my favorite things to make is strawberry shortcake. I use store bought or home made angel food cake instead of pound cake and frozen yogurt or fat free whipped topping. Yummmm yum!
