I have my friend coming over for a long weekend of gaming tomorrow. This will basically mean that I will be sitting on my butt all weekend, constantly snacking and eating pizzas, Chinese and curry. I am gonna hit up a 10 mile walk every morning so I have plenty of calories to spend. so I am after some kinda semi healthy finger food like some sort of buffet style snacks. My friend is Sicilian so by association eats his body weight in food every day and deffinatly won't put up with rabbit food. Any ideas would be much appriciated.

Put out some options for them and some for you! Who says you have to eat the same as them! If they're your mate, they should support the fact you are trying to eat better/be healthier/lose weight and after some initial banter let you eat what you want! So yeah... prepare stuff for you and for them... and maybe have just a little of the bad so they may not give you so much stick...if they do!

I have a bad weekend ahead too! The girls are visiting and we already have planned a big pub lunch then a night out on the booze! they are all staying at mine so at least i can control what i eat at home.

Going to try and work out in the morning, have a healthy low carb/high protein brekkie, protein shake at hand...big lunch then a few healthioer snacks available (and crisps...and pizza's) Would love ideas for nibbles if anyone has any!

Sounds like a plan Andy, I am doing the same this weekend too my friend is coming to stay, although I will probably pass on the 10 mile walks I am planning a KFC which will fill me up for an entire day and so I stay under my calories. Important thing is to keep logging the "bad" as well as the good and you will be able to look at the long term picture in the reports section and see that over a long period of time you are meeting your goals and the odd weekend off here and there don't matter that much.

Have fun, what games do you have planned. We shall we going for some Left 4 Dead i expect as I will be selling my Xbox quite soon
